Outdoors? Hmm … maybe Pokemon Heart Gold / Soul Silver.
On my phone.
Outdoors? Hmm … maybe Pokemon Heart Gold / Soul Silver.
On my phone.
Netflix, Youtube, any other streaming service and the high seas.
I ditched my old living room couch gaming machine / mediabox linux PC to another.
That looks cool. Now all it needs is the shell to be resized to be appropriate for that screen size. :v
Nope. Its heavy and clunky.
Steam Controller
I use it as the living room entertainment machine / mediabox. Its docked 95% of the time, used for Netflix, Youtube, whatever the high seas bring in.
I bought it specofically as a replacement for my previous linux gaming PC / mediabox.
Horizon Zero Dawn. The second favorite is AC:Unity. And I haven’t played any other AAA game on it (I have a Deck since a year ago.)
ps. Does Guild Wars 2 count?
I just use the deck as is. With a dock. And a controller. :v
I could do that with my Steam Controller with the old model too :/
“After going through like 6 Rog allys …”
Wait, what?
Cool thing about it, that can work with all the oversized “portable” devices of the day too. From the Switch, and the Deck to the PS Portal, Rog Ally and all the rest.
Do xdg portals work in this nested desktop? Because that have been the bigest issue in the custom script
I just wish that by the “fifth generation” of the Deck rolls out there will be a Deck Lite / Portable / Smol line, with let say second to first generation’s feature set but half the size and weight.
I just reread this. This person over here is literally saying that “real tinkerers use Windows”. Wa? What paralel universe have I landed myself in this morning?
I have been using Linux as my main desktop OS since 2007. So if the question is, can you use it as a Desktop OS for coding, browsing, editing office documents etc? Then yeah, of course you can.
My Deck lives in its dock 98% of the time, and is the living room entertainment system for us in desktop mode. We use it for youtube, netflix, occasionally whatever the high seas bring etc.
How is it surprising you? (Did it brought the orange juice while you were not looking? :v )
Instead of a smaller device. Bah humbug.
For the current price of the LCD models? Absolutely worth it.
