Curious to see which games have gotten performance boosts since the SD launched.

Elden Ring got a nice boost. I can play it docked at 1080p 30fps now as before it struggled at that resolution.

I wouldn’t necessarily consider FPS a performance metric, it’s more of a cosmetic preference. The point does stand however that other performance metrics improved across the board with each update.

All of them except those that already reached 60fps :) …

    cause

    • the Os,
    • the compositor,
    • the compatibility layers (DX12 has the most changes),
    • the bios
    • the firmware

keep to get improvements since day 1.

there is even input lag reductions with latest firmware and you can even undervolt the cpu / GPU with latest bios …

And there is probably still place for improvements …

Sometimes you also get specific games optimizations from the developer of the game or from Valve (ex: Elden Ring)

Tomb Raider used to get me 60 with dips on High settings with TDP limit at 14W. Now I get locked 60 at ultra with the same TDP. The games looks really good on the deck now
