Ordered 30 minutes after launch expecting to get it delivered within 3-5 days as advertised, but it’s now been 5 days stuck in packaged. I contacted support 2 days after purchasing and haven’t heard a response since either.
We weren’t aware of the backlog for shipping in Canada until we already made the purchase. That warning should be front and center on the store page before ordering.
The lack of communication for all this tops it off as well. I don’t mind waiting, but at the end of the day, me and many others spent $800-$1000 and would like to know what’s going on with possibly an updated delivery estimate on the order page, because 3-5 days is not at all accurate with this current backlog.
Torontian here. ordered 2 hours after it launched and still on packaging as well.
after reading all the posts the last few days, i just hope i can get it before Christmas.
Same story in Ireland.😔
I understand the frustration - my order is at the same stage. Genuine question though, would you have reconsidered your purchase if they said “we’re going to be backed-up and delivery will be delayed?”
Not OP, but I would have not purchased if that message was presented before checkout.
I have a long travel (over 3 months) in early December and I thought 3 weeks would be more than enough (considering 3-5 days estimate) for the order to be delivered, and give me an additional window for potential delays or returns.
I live 3 states away from warehouse and wont have it until tomorrow. I ordered 20min after release.
Same happening in the UK. Unfortunately the delivery side of things is really letting them down.
Day seven and counting for us UK OLED launch day buyers.
I’ve decided to print a screenshot for the Shipment details tracking page onto some paper and stick it on my monitor.Provides the same level of updates and saves electricity.
Same here ordered 18:29 512 OLED, still packaged
Valve already changed their estimates for Canadian orders several times on their website. Currently it’s back to 3-5 days which has me hoping that their issues are mostly resolved by now.
