I mean they kept making cpus after their near bankruptcy from Bulldozer… Odds are they’ll just quit making top tier gpus which wouldn’t be a first for them at all. The 480/580 were mainstream class cards with no top tier above them. And then there was Vega 56, 64, and 7… The 7 was their attempt at a top tier. Then they went with 5700xt again a mid tier card with no top tier.
Really wouldn’t be weird for AMD to just say “can’t match a 5090 so we’re not gonna try” while they work on future cards. Until they think they can give it a shot again.
