More specifically dose anyone know when it will be available in the stable channel?

    3.5 has left the main (like the most unstable, most frequently updated) channel some while ago. You should be able to safely switch to a preview channel. It has been pretty solid and stable for a while now. + You can completely disable predownloaded shader-caches now… The optimizations they made in the compile pipeline means, there are basically no stutters at all.

    If videos don’t work, download a “ProtonUp-Qt” from a discover store and through that download proton GE. (Due to licensing reasons, Valve can’t officially include commercial codecs, so shader caches often contain extra re-encoded videos as well. Proton GE is a community fork with codecs included, so most videos should work with orifinal/“non re-encoded” videos)

    Maybe valve will release it beside a new product of theirs, or potential future partners. Not talking about the deck 2 but perhaps a Linux pc or something else idk.
