Apple on the other hand expects to get paid for the device, the repairs, the software and digital content, and by the developers too.
SteamDeck didn’t increase their price with an OLED display. No reason for Apple to do so as well. They can afford it.

There’s no good reason to hike the price, but they absolutely will… it may very well even be a build to order option.
