I didn’t like Fallout 4 on release and still think it’s the worst 3D Fallout (if we exclude 76 which I only played for a couple of hours). BUT, after a bit I started really enjoying it for what it was even if there’s still things I don’t like.

Starfield on the other hand… Oh boy. I played nearly a hundred hours up until I was on NG+2 just to see if I didn’t get it, expecting it to eventually become good.
It never did. Don’t get me wrong, I had my fair share of fun moments while playing, the combat for exemple I dinf pretty neat, like a better version of F4. The space ships are also pretty cool even though they ultimately don’t really serve a purpose. Some quests were also god.

But man, is the game bland and devoid of charm. It’s not optimized, the story is boring, the facial animations are still outdated and uncanny, there’s ZERO reason to explore which is what I’ve always enjoyed in Bethesda games, it’s not a pretty game except for some interior environments (That pretty much all look like a better version of the Institute from F4).

A lot of people have used the phrase “As vast as an ocean, as deep as a puddle” over the years and I feel like it fits Starfield the most. I had the misfortune of buying the premium edition so I’ll probably play through the DLC and uninstall the game again. Until then, I have no desire to ever play this game again.<

All of this is just my opinion btw, I don’t hate people for enjoying the game, it’s jsut not a good Bethesda game to me, or a good game period.

You still can’t order the Steam Deck in Switzerland :^)

I don’t have one but the battery is the thing that almost tempted me.

Bruh I can’t even get the Deck here in Switzerland, be happy you only have to wait a bit haha. I had to ask someone from France to order one for me because I know how Valve are with us. They never released the Index here and they probably aren’t going to release the Deck either.

I just baught a lot of games I wanted: Hidden Folks, Hidden Through Time 1 and 2 with DLC, Thrillville, Steins;Gate, If my heart had wings flight diary, Chicory a colorful tale, Halo the masterchief collection and We Love Katamari Damacy REROLL. I’m also debating getting Armored Core 6

And then there’s countries like mine where the Steam Deck is still not officially available.

Switzerland too. Valve is notorious for not releasing anything here but having us pay way more for games. Feels bad man.

All the Tekken games

Nope! Got mine one year ago, I use it often and it works great and the battery is not a problem for me and I fon’t really care about the screen. Unless mine stops working and can’t be repaired I’ll just wait for the 2

Finally got around to playing Phantom Liberty on my desktop PC. On deck though I am, as always, on a big nostalgia trip with emulation and I am currently playing WarioWare Twisted, Rugrats Search for Reptar and my beloved Humongous Entertainment games (Putt-Putt, Freddie Fish, Pajama Sam and Spy Fox)

I’m very happy with my current deck and have no problem with the screen or battery life as I mainly use it for emulation or to play in my bed/on the couch. I would however be happier if it was officially available in my region because it’s still not, be it the LCD or OLED version.

I don’t really care for either honestly since it’s still not available in my region without having to either pay a fortune to a reseller or having someone oder it from a different country and then ship it to you.
