Not what you’re looking for, but I remember watching a documentary (decades ago) where they wired people up to EEG machines and then showed them images for increasingly slight instants. After a certain point, like 1/1000th of a second or something, the individual would stop reporting seeing anything, but their brain would still register it. And furthermore it would register it quicker than in the cases where the person was still able to consciously notice it.
Does the Xbox actually sell at all? I don’t see why it would. You can play the Xbox library on PC and it will be a better experience. You only need a console for the half dozen or so Playstation exclusives that are actually worth playing, and that’s assuming you’re cool with having to choose between 4K and 60fps…
Articles like this just don’t make sense to me. It’s like they aren’t aware of where the gaming landscape is shifting to.
