I’m having this bug after 15-30 minutes in Gladius, but 1.5 hr CP2077 is stable as usual.
Definitely something messed up with the software.
I also choose this guy’s wife
My SD started it after 3.5.5 but only in 1 game, at least for now. No Warhammer for me, tho(
It is actually a Yakuza series, Like a dragon being one of many games in it.
I’ve had the Lenovo Legion gaming laptop before SD. 95% of all my SD gaming sessions now are laying in bed, somewhere before sleeping, an hour or so. Maximum chill mode.
With a laptop it is also possible, but not as convenient.
Is it not working or what?
Bought mine like 2 months ago, maybe a bit less. The initial OLED hype is strong, but the OG deck is still perfectly viable for my use case.
If it’ll seriously break anytime soon - I’ll consider OLED, but not before that.
This new steamdeck is first of all a proof of success of the OG steamdeck sales. Even Valve would not support and upgrade unsuccessful products, pouring money into marketing and stuff.
So while I fully expect that overall sales are nowhere near even the Xbox, not to mention Switch/Sony, Valve is still confident that the market is there for them, and I can’t be happier to see this.
It’s surely an upgrade.
Worth purchasing or not is highly subjective.
Because SD GPU fluctuates between specific MHz values people sometimes think that there’s a bug, when there’s none.
However, if your fps suddenly dropped to a single digit number/or even your SD completely froze after a few seconds AND your gpu is stuck at 200MHz - welcome to the club, buddy.
