Imma start fresh.
Before I swap I’m going to play with all the weird things I wouldn’t know how how to clean up.

With a 2TB SSD, I dont want to use the SD card for Steam games. Is it possible to use a exFat SD card for ROM storage so that I can pop it out load up it on any of my other computers?
It uses the same kind of panel as the Switch OLED, dim the screen and don’t worry about it. (Unless you’re looking at the downloads screen at full brightness for 18,000 hours, then maybe worry about it)
My Deck was sitting right under my router and only connected to the 5ghz band. I had to give the 6ghz band its own SSID before it would even connect. After I did that, nothing the Deck did with transfers or downloads was improved with the better connection.
I’m thinking the networking in Deck (or Linux?) is just a bit shit.
I’ve never ever used the Deck docked, the games run better on my normal PC
Also my Deck rarely leaves the house.
What made you consider the Lenovo over the Ally for a secondary device?
Meh, if you have no ATV, just look for a deal on the current ATV
Cinderella (1950) - Technical specifications - IMDb

Aspect ratio 1.37:1
1.37:1 (Academy ratio).
Only slightly wider than the 4:3 ratio used throughout the silent film era, the Academy Ratio was the standard film ratio in 1932 when “talkies” (aka, films with sound) began.
I’ve felt that for things linked with my Movies Anywhere account, that iTunes/Apple has a higher quality but I have nothing to back that up.

After watching this 40 minute quick look at the Legion Go by The Phawx, I think the ROG Ally is the better companion “doesn’t easily work on Steam Deck” device. VRR, horizontal screen, better ergonomics, you’re probably never going to remove the joycons. But bear in mind 16GB of ram is not quite enough for ether device.
Sold my Steam Deck LCD to get the OLED, picked up the ROG Ally to help me wait.
If the Deck uses a similar panel as the Switch OLED, you don’t really have to worry about it. For some peace of mind, just turn the brightness down.
Any suggestions for GoG games not on Steam?
I’m down with Apple gaming if I can buy a game once and it works (and crosssaves) on my iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and MacBook
Bonus points for a controller that easily moves between devices like AirPods
Sounds like the product meets it’s goals of getting high quality video into the PC, and doesn’t limit the HDMI signal as much along the way compared to other solutions.
What do you want to do that 4k60 HDR isn’t enough for your video project?
After many reboots I settled on -20, -50, -20
