For me, pc and steamdeck have a lovely symbiotic relationship. I simply play a bit of game on pc, and continue where I left off on my steam deck.

Goddamnit, you all are really pushing me to buy the new deck, please stop it, my OG Deck doesnt have that spectacular smell, i miss it, i miss it so much it’s unbearable .
Ttake into consideration that deck also charges much slower when you are playing a game.
Someone in other sub suggested genrly rubbing the dead pixel (im not kidding, they said it worked ) :D
Well, I´ve read on forums that some people do have this problem on 3.5.5/3.5.7 stable. However, it doesn´t look like it affects majority of deck owners. The only problem most people are experiencing is GPU being wonky and not able to adjust the clock speed correctly (causing stutters in some games). The games I played ,however, work just fine (I tested/played recently: Half Life, Days Gone and Deep rock galactic )
It happens on most of the Decks, sometimes the sticks make a click noise (less or more audible). It happens because of the wire going around the stick. The solution is opening the deck and repositioning the wire so it will not catch on the plastic part of joystick. Or, if it is really annoying/bad, contact valve, they have been pretty good with replacing it for a brand new one. On my OG Q1 Deck , left stick is completely silent , right makes a tiny click noise, since it doesn’t affect functionality for me, I got used to it.
