My LCD doesnt have it. My Oled does. I have an RMA open now. Total bullshit.

Its a great looking screen. But. This model clearly has quality control problems. That is just a fact at this point. I have shitty audio and dead pixel. For almost 600 bucks, absolutely no thanks Valve. The pixel I could probably live with. The hissing audio on a portable device… Gimme a break.
Tested this. LCD didnt have the problem. OLED did. RMA open now. No thanks Valve.
512 GB here. Dead pixel and also a horrible audio feedback issue on my headphone out. Complete dogshit stuff for a new device, although the screen is very lovely besides the quality control problem. I have an RMA open now.
Good decision. At least until next year sometime
I found a dead pixel on the screen as well. That combined with this audio issue. I said hell no and getting this returned back within the 14 day window. Last thing I want is to be stuck with a sub par product if they cant fix the audio. I will revisit the Steam deck again next year to see if quality control has improved.
512 GB no dead pixels or sub pixels
Dont get the LE, it uses a BOE panel that is more prone to dead pixels. Also, be aware there is a static issue with the audio out. Not sure if that will be fixed or not.
Guys, if you want the Oled and have some credit to spare. Just slap it on credit and get it. Its the American way and we dont live forever. Thank me later.
LCD now stands for Lower Class Deckers. Sorry, but I cannot even see you LCDers anymore as I sit upon my high perch, staring deep into the abyss that is infinite contrast
