Yup. Mine is fine. At least I haven’t noticed any problems with it. I am not looking for faults either.

Nah. Mine is arriving tomorrow. But yes, it felt like 84 years. Still very quick, I have to say.
That’s true. I do like it for cleaning the UI up though. Will check it out on the OLED again because my OG Deck is already gone. :(
CSS Loader is one of the best things for the Deck. Being able to customize the crap out of the UI, basically, is awesome.
Because I am spoiled by how fast German parcel services work. :(
Ordering it on Thursday for it to arrive by Saturday would be my dream scenario.
My Game Pass Ultimate subscription ran out last week because I sold my Xbox.
I still do have a Gaming PC which I COULD use to play GamePass games but I probably won’t.
Playing those on the Steam Deck would be a game changer though.
My Surface Laptop came with a free month of GPU, so maybe I’ll use it to play some games on the OLED Deck when I get my hands on one.
It doesn’t matter. People will whine anyway.
I am whining because I wanted to get rid of my Deck for playing to little with it and now I want an OLED one. So …
I actually sold my Deck yesterday. Before the announcement. Because I wasn’t using it enough, and the discrepancy between the OLED Switch and the Deck‘s LCD was too much.
But now I want an OLED one. I probably don’t need it. But I want it.
It’s a total valid answer and a sensible one at that. Because the support is probably right: you won’t notice the dead pixel after a few days / weeks of usage.
Hell, I have a dead pixel on my gaming monitor and I barely notice it.
Apple would call one dead pixel „tolerance“ by the way.
So Valve basically offering you RMA IF you feel dissatisfied in the coming days is good in my book.
