Looks like you can’t use middle ware (lutris) that’s native to Linux to launch the games, you need to use a steam shortcut via game mode that directly targets the Windows executable file

For those of us experiencing the issues OP is referring to, the steam deck never switches to HDR mode on the display, you can pull up the right side quick menu on the deck and on the screen with the brightness slider there will be a logo at the top right that displays “HDR” when it is receiving and displaying HDR video

Please let Let us know if you figure out a fix for this OP, I’m in the same boat.

Nah, I’m running it through proton ge 24 via the battle.net launcher in game mode, I’m not paying for the same game twice :S

Anyone manage to get HDR working on Diablo IV? The HDR toggle is enabled on the OLED but it’s completely busted end makes the screen 90% gray

They might live in a state where they aren’t charged sales tax, steam collects sales tax based on where the item is being shipped

It’s an extra 55-65 in sales tax that gets tacked on as well check out

So what’s the expectation, that all three versions sell out 35 seconds after the order page goes live?

Couldn’t disagree more with the screen comparison. For me, the upgrade from the Switch IPS LCD to the OLED was phenomenal. The OG Steam deck screen is arguably a lot worse than the OG switch LCD screen, so I’m very excited to have this upgrade option. Not everyone is as fanatical about when quality as myself, but for those of us who are, the OLED option reigns supreme. Not to mention the extra goodies such as HDR support, the apu shrink, more efficient cooling and memory clock frequency increase.
