Im returning my LE with a dead pixel in the middle of the screen and just bought a 1TB NON LE. I love the LE, but im not going to return it for another with a inferior panel. I would much prefer the samsung panel.

Did a dead pixel check on mine last night, no dead pixels, and I was REALLY looking for them. But my A and B button are sticking
Did the dead pixel check on my LE, zero dead pixels thankfully! Still wish valve went with Samsung.
I’m willing to give it another shot once my oled gets here sometime this week but I’ll probably just play indies like I always do lol. I feel like that’s the sweet spot for Deck.
Yeah I’m trash with a controller in fps games, even single player games like doom feel sluggish/diminished on controller imo.
Love elden ring so much, but I just can’t play it at 30 fps. Some games it’s okay, but elden ring I feel like I’m moving through syrup on the Deck.
the money wasnt the issue for me, but it still seemed like a bad purchase since I already owned a launch 512 LCD. well I had a few things to throw on marketplace including the gen 1 SD and boom my LE Oled was paid for without having to actually spend any cash out of pocket. Today I just won a 4 leg parlay on a football game with a free bonus bet and my wifes 512 Oled is paid for lol. Happy day.
As much as I want to, I really can’t justify the cost. I told My wife she can have my old one and she said she’d play it but plays her switch more. I could think of a better place for that $700+ (limited edition after taxes). My OG steam deck is fine 🤷
Mine had zero issues until I noticed the two dead pixels near center of the panel. Now I can’t not see them. Going to swap it out for a regular 1tb oled. I really hope valve starts selling different shells that we can buy.
