Persona 4 & 5, Skyrim, The Outer Worlds, Witcher 3, Divinity Original Sin 1 & 2, Tales of Arise, Star Ocean the Second Story R, Disgaea series, the Ys series, Bravely Default 2, Disco Elysium, Outward, Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2, and there are so many more.
I actually found them very playable with the trackpads. Specifically I played and completed PoE2:Deadfire on Deck, but I don’t imagine PoE1 would be any different.
I played through PoE1 on the deck with no issues. I actually loved the controller mapping and hot key layouts. If you use the joysticks it is definitely awkward, but I just used the touch pads.
I would disagree. The game is not really at all trying to be like a Bethesda game - the similarities are pretty superficial. Yes, it has similar combat and controls, and you’d be forgiven for looking at a screenshot and thinking they are similar. But it’s not trying to give you a huge open world to explore and get lost in - it’s very much plot-driven and quest driven.
It has a pretty good main plot, absolutely fantastic side quests, great worldbuilding, and outstanding character writing.
Yes, it’s not a huge or long game, so if you think that makes it not worth spending the full price on, whatever. I still got a solid 50-60 hours out of the game, if not more, and would highly recommend it to anybody (assuming it runs well on Deck, of course - I have only played it on Switch)

Pillars are great games but very painful to play with the deck’s controllers.
Isn’t the font too small to read?
Pillars 2 was among the first games I installed on my deck. It contributed to me having a lukewarm experience in the opening days of owning a deck.
What’s frustrating is that these games were ported to console so they easily could implement controller support.

I’ve heard DOS 2 crashes a lot on the deck, I wanted to get back into playing that game. Does anyone know if those issues have been fixed?
More than 300hs and never a crash
Been playing star ocean, it’s great
Only play Outer Worlds if you can get it for like $7 on sale. Its just a bad copy of BGS games (which themselves aren’t great these days)

Shoutout to Outward! It actually did not cross my mind as an “RPG” (I see it more as a survival souls-like), but great game.
