Yes, absolutely. Best way i found was using XBplay app, which works perfectly for xCloud and remote play, you can Download it also for iPhone and Android. You can test it for 15min gameplay and if you like it costs like only 0.99 or so. Worth it IMHO. Worth mentioning i have Game Pass Ultimate
On Steam Deck just go to Desktop Mode and find the app via appstore.
Was wandering it too, tried to switch the slider on but did not notice any diference though.
I would not worry about that much, modern OLED have burn in prevention functions such as switching pixels now and then to refresh them in case long static picture. But screen saver would be nice too, so why not ☺️
Yeah, I play mostly on SD too, and backup have gaming laptop for some strategy games and in case i need some tinkering and i will sell gaming rig bcs i dont use it almost at all.
So that is probably the problem, that GOG version uses other proton or wine. I will try other versions of proto. If that helps. Do you have CP installed using GOG luncher or Lutris? I use Lutris, so i can switch proto version there.
Do you have Steam or GOG version, i have GOG and have same issue like you, but found other thread where they claim the HDR is OK. This could be only proton issue maybe or something.
Other games like Lords of Fallen works fine with HDR.
The Cyberpunk 2077 is Steam version i assume? I have GOG version and the HDR looks awefull in both settings available.
Also I can confirm, that Lords of Fallen works, just turn it on in game settings. Same for the No Mans Sky
Cyberpunk 2077 (GOG version) with HDR looked horible for me (both options) so i play without it and still its looking gorgeous. Hoping it will be fixe though.

Mine was delivered after 12 days, just yesterday.
I use just regular USB-C hub from Baseus and it works just fine. I used it with MacBook also so i had spare one lying around.
In previous OS versions it was possible to set any number between 30-40 not sure why now is it like this, but i read somewhere it can be fixed maybe some update will add this.
The black flash of dark is when the display changes refresh rate it will happen everytime you adjust refresh rate / FPS limit nothing to worry about.
Thank you for sharing. I believe this is valuable post, bcs if this can be fixed by Valve on SW level, as other comments sugests, this needs to be talked about so they even care to improve this. Without criticism there cant be improvement. Glorify SD only without valid criticism (even i love SD btw) will not push the improvements where there needs to be.
Nuf said, I hope this will be improved, as other problems on 3.5 FW. For example since the update má Wi-Fi acting strangly when in Steam shop (disaconnecting periodicaly) but it is ok when downloading stuff, i suspecting some emergy saving feature which needs to be adjusted. And theres surly more issues to be solved.

It runs quite good with FSR, lot of settings to adjust acording to your needs. I dont mind 30FPS too with this kind of game so i play on mix of medium / high setings and FSR 2.2 to Ultra Quality and perfectly playeble for me with FPS cap set to 40.
Will get stuck in boot loop.
What game it is? Did you try to use different Proton version or Proton Experimental? Also, you can check the game on https://www.protondb.com where usualy is shared info how to get the game to work.
I plan to do this also, have 1T Corsair SSD on LCD SD, what just swap it to OLED. What I read so far it should boot ok, fingerscrossed.
Then it should work great provided you have decent Wi-Fi at your home. I played xCloud, remote play and GeForce now all runs great.
