1·1 year agoI played Lake (not on deck) and found it completely chill.
I play a lot less on my PC. Mostly being because I have 1 desk setup I share for working and playing and mentally feels a slog after a long day of work because of the lack of separation.
I even tried 2 different desks at one point but it did not make a lot of difference.
I bought the OLED deck specifically to play shorter titles and indies like blasphemous, cult of the lamb etc and enjoying it a lot so far. Being able to relax on the couch and play for an hour or so is massive.
It’s 3-5 business days… you don’t count weekends. Regardless of that it’s stil late
If you haven’t already I suggest trying out desk job it’s free and shows off all the controls you can do

How do you get the games? Are people able to get them from the original media itself?
I’m thinking of ringing them up when they open to see if I can pick up instead, no idea if they allow it but I live near it anyways

I’m not sure what you want valve to do to be honest, they strategically place their own warehouses in key places that work best for them based on their experience, then get a shipping company to deliver.
The only thing I can think is the buyer arranges shipping themselves but then you potentially lose a lot of protections doing that (not sure how much of the distance selling regulations would cover you if you arranged the shipping in this instance if it happened to get lost or damaged)
