Really… I wish I had as much money as these clowns if they can just throw money like that
Really… I wish I had as much money as these clowns if they can just throw money like that
I swear to God… I never saw a single post about docks killing decks ever and I’ve been here almost since launch.
But I see this exact post every other week. Where do you people heard that was a thing?
Is it really that good? I guess I don’t need to buy a real mic after all
PS2 will definitely run better with more battery
I’d advise looking into lutris. A lot easier than messing around with everything as a non steam game
If you keep yourself to the steam store. You’ll be very fine being a literal tech idiot even. Worst case scenario sooner or later you’ll need GE proton but that’s like a 10 minute YouTube video but only takes like 3 minutes irl and no command line or anything needed.
Using it as a docked pc is not a bad idea, using it as a Windows pc is.
Same. It just feel worth it. the performance boost is small and I don’t play games that would need it. The battery life improvement is nice bit also… Again I don’t play heavy games that need it.
The real part… The screen. Like, I’m more interested in it because it’s bigger(smaller bezels) not because it’s OLED. I have not used an OLED screen in my life so you can’t really sell it to me because “it’s just better, black are blacker” like… I don’t care? Screen is screen and it works.
Are you talking about remake ff7? If so… Unless you lower your graphic settings and make use of the tdp lowering that battery life sounds normal.
Does anybody else on protondb or heck even steam discussions have the same problem as you do with the other game? Sure the verified system isn’t perfect but that’s highly unnatural behavior
So… You use Linus with AI lipsync… You chose a text to speech that sounds like a 12yo, and speaks too fast. The music is loud af.
And the whole idea is stupid. Just buy the bigger storage option. And if you want to save money… You won’t. Like obviously if you’re gonna buy a bigger ssd anyway you won’t save enough if the deck comes without one. Abd you need to install the os yourself. Most people would just buy it simply because it’s cheaper and then they would be surprised it doesn’t turn on because there’s no SSD inside.
Just check here time to time when you want to play something not on steam https://www.visualnovelwiki.org/en/home
Maybe. But I’ll stay with 40 because of more battery life
I feel like… Linus did something like this for a PC once…
It’s kind of a glorified exe so just normal should work, no?
You’d just lose all the tdp options and whatever else is around there.
But theoretically speaking. You could just add whatever else you need as a non steam game and have them open? Also there’s a decky plugin called quick launch which just let’s you choose what desktop mode app you want to launch and it does it. So browser, file explorer whatever you need.
As usual I’m gonna only buy 1 game. Didn’t decided what yet, most likely almost all my wishlist will be on sale. Maybe tales of arise, maybe AC origins, maybe Valkyrie Elysium, maybe trails of cold steel.
Tailor made for the deck is… That it has gaming mode and nothing else? And for advanced stuff like getting ge proton or heroic or lutris you still need to go to desktop mode.
Like literally all a desktop version needs is Nvidia and Intel drives and to boot to desktop mode not gaming mode.
Actual deck 2 with better APU, that’s more than just 2-10% better performance.
Just play 13 sentinels… It should be a crime that game is stuck on PS4 and switch. Obviously emulate the switch version
In the steam discussions I came across hopeful news. It uses the RE engine. So basically RE4 remake is the latest example. So it should run like that, most likely slightly worse because open world and pawns.
Just let’s hope they implement fsr3 or at least 2 to get some performance boost.
