512 GB samsung panel no dead pixels
512 GB samsung panel no dead pixels
Dang it seems like its mostly LE owners with lots of issues. Like the dead pixels seem to be mostly LE and the issues with the DPAD and buttons seems to be all LE also. Weird
Dang im using a 77 inch screen and I could still go bigger
Its a 150$ lower msrp not 200
West of loathing
Im using it to connect My PC to my OLED TV and AV Reciever. Way better than a monitor to me
I wonder why everyone holds AMDs display port 2.1 in such high regard. Its barely more bandwidth than hdmi 2.1 since its not the full UHBR20 80GBPS
its UHB13.5 at 54GBPS on RDNA 3 vs 48GBPS HDMI 2.1 on ADA GPUs
I wonder how the color improvements work on a fundamental level.
Is it basically just wrapping the SRGB Colorspace down to like 60% so the screen can reach the full range of colors.
I assume it looked so washed out before because the games and OS were expecting a certain color on the srgb color triangle but the deck screen could only meet it 2/3 the way leaving it undersaturated.
And now its basically transferring the srgb color space to a smaller one and pumping the saturation a bit so that every color can be represented properly.
That would probably fix the things looking heavily undersaturated but its still not really accurate or as good as a full SRGB screen which would look similarly accurate but with more real saturation
I got the 512gb version. Im putting a skin on it anyway
FInally got the 512GB yess
I’m so glad I waited til now to get a deck. I tried the rog ally literally a month ago but didn’t like it and I’m glad I returned it. now this OLED deck is literally the handheld of my dreams.
My OLED Deck doesn’t have any audio issues with the 3.5mm jack.
