The OLED deck is absolutely fine, however I have been hit with the GPU bug where its getting stuck between 200mhz and 1040mhz… its an OS issue so we gotta wait for Valve to patch it

Haha no it did not ! I just got a txt to say it was coming even tho the tracking didn’t show that.

Got mine today ! Parcelforce came through for me, honestly people you are in for such a treat. The screen is incredible and it runs way cooler with much less power draw. I think the reviewers have been very modest.

Also not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but the shell feels better too, bit more textured

I love my OG deck but I won’t miss the light bleed… mine has it pretty bad.

It’s deffo helped me play my PC games more than I was, I work from home and I spend all day at my desk and the last thing I want to do sometimes is then sit there to play games. Having a steam deck means I can still play my steam games from the comfort of my bed

Would I need to upgrade to 3.5 before taking out my 1tb ssd with all my games on, and putting it into the new oled deck ?

I’m upgrading because I want to, I love OLED displays and the list of improvements they have made with the rest of the device are worth it imo.

I have some pretty bad light bleed on my 256gb model, and the OLED will get rid of that ever being an issue again.

I will be ripping the 1TB heart out of my deck, and slapping it into my new OLED deck as soon as It arrives.

My 256gb model is in mint condition, so I reckon 200 - 250 will be a good price for it on ebay
