You can also try power and either the volume up or down buttons.
Also, let it sit on the charger for a bit, then take it off and try it.

USB-C probably can’t provide the necessary wattage.
As for the battery life, I have no idea. I have a Lenovo Legion all-AMD and it’s been quite good. The successor to mine apparently can last up to 9 hours for non-gaming workloads. It sounds to me like Dell messed something up here in a big way.
It will also most likely be fine regardless. In general, don’t worry so much about who made it. Dead pixels happen, especially in limited run conditions.
Also, limited edition runs with more manual interaction will always have slightly higher defect rates. So it’s the perfect combination of a small problem, ignorance, and a very large megaphone.
Scale. Samsung has to run a specific production line. BOE can handle smaller, custom orders, and overall their quality is fine. But this is a limited run and more manual process which will always result in more errors.
Ah, mine is apparently Samsung. I’ve had BOE panels on phones though, and haven’t had any problems with those. I suspect it’s likely that just due to the nature of limited runs, if BOE is doing a lot of those, there may be more problems. (Limited runs often use a different production line, often with less automation, and humans are more likely to miss a stuck pixel than a computer check.)
How do you know which panel you have?
This is definitely missing several. Offhand, it’s missing several Lenovo models (I have one for work, it’s amazing) and Corsair makes one as well.
I’m pretty sure AMD has contributed to RadV in the past and probably will continue to. The overall move has been from AMDVLK to RadV anyway, so realistically, I don’t think this is going to impact anyone.
I’ve had some phones with BOE displays. I know they have been struggling to increase yields, but as you’ve mentioned, it’s not an exact copy of Samsung, and the smaller pixel gaps and color are distinctly noticeable, especially in how well they handle low brightness.
